Paneer Lababdar in Orange Gravy

Paneer Lababdar in Orange Gravy

Paneer Lababdar is a popular Indian dish known for its rich and creamy texture. This recipe will guide you through making Paneer Lababdar with a unique twist of orange gravy, perfect for 2-3 servings.

Step 1: Prepare the Base

Start by taking 4 tablespoons of premix and mixing it with 1 cup of milk or water. This will form the base of your orange gravy.

Step 2: Sauté the Ingredients

In a pan, heat1 tbsp butter or oil. For an extra kick, you can add a green chili at this stage. Then, add half a cup of tomato purée and cook for 2-3 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

Step 3: Add the Premix Paste

Next, add the premix paste to the pan and let it boil for 5 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and create a delicious base for your Paneer Lababdar.

Step 4: Incorporate Paneer Cubes

Once the mixture has thickened, add 250 grams of Paneer cubes to the pan. Adjust the consistency of the gravy by adding more milk or water if needed. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes to ensure the Paneer absorbs the flavors.

Step 5: Finish with Kasoori Methi

To enhance the aroma and flavor of the dish, sprinkle some Kasoori methi over the Paneer Lababdar. This final touch will elevate the dish and give it a unique, earthy flavor.

Paneer Lababdar with orange gravy is a delightful twist on a classic recipe. The combination of creamy Paneer, tangy tomatoes, and the subtle hint of orange creates a dish that is both comforting and exotic.
